What is it?

Tebuconazole is a member of the triazole class of fungicides. It provides both protective and curative action. How does it work?

Upon application, Tebuconazole is absorbed by the plant and distributed systemically. It targets and inhibits the enzyme C14-demethylase, which is essential for the production of ergosterol. Ergosterol is a critical component of fungal cell membranes. Without it, the fungi cannot build functional cell membranes, leading to their demise. This action helps protect plants from a wide array of fungal diseases, ensuring healthy growth and higher yields.
