What is it?

Piperonyl Butoxide is a synthetic compound derived from safrole, an organic substance found in sassafras oil. Although PBO itself does not have insecticidal properties, its role as a synergist is vital for enhancing the potency and spectrum of insecticides, particularly pyrethrins and pyrethroids.

How does it work?
