What is it?

Due to its strong residual activity, Bromacil is primarily used in non-crop areas such as industrial sites, railways, and fence lines, as it can affect a wide range of plants. Bromacil can function as both a pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide, making it versatile for different weed control scenarios. Results from Bromacil application can typically be observed within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on environmental conditions and the type of vegetation being targeted.

How does it work?

Bromacil inhibits photosynthesis by interfering with the photosystem II electron transport in plants. This action disrupts the normal photosynthetic process, preventing the production of essential sugars and amino acids, which ultimately leads to the death of the plant. This disruption causes the plant to gradually weaken and die. The visible effects of Bromacil on weeds can take several weeks to become apparent, as it is a slow-acting herbicide.
