Description: NIMITZ is a soil-applied nematicide containing 40% fluensulfone for control and suppression of plant-parasitic nematodes, including root-knot and lesion nematodes. It is labeled for use in a wide range of agricultural crops, including vegetables, fruits, soybeans, sugarcane, tree nuts, tobacco, and root and tuber crops. NIMITZ can be applied by broadcast, banded, or chemigation methods to help protect crops from damaging nematode populations.
