What is it?

Thiamethoxam is a systemic insecticide, meaning it is absorbed by plants and distributed throughout their tissues. How does it work?

When insects ingest or come into contact with Thiamethoxam, it disrupts their nervous system by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. This disruption leads to over-stimulation of the nerves, resulting in paralysis and death.
